Zsolt VETLÉNYI, painter

He was born in Kaposvár, 1967. Study at Hungarian Art University, Picture-graphic Faculty (1991).
Prizes: “Derkovits” fellowship (1994), FACE Giant poster exhibition, Prize of Excellence (2000).
He has made 8 graphic albums so far.
“Your heart is laughing, the sun is laughing, your voice is laughing, the dawn is laughing, your eyes are laughing, the sky is laughing, your teeth are laughing, the spring is laughing, the light is laughing, one star is laughing and I am laughing. A cloud is laughing, the fig, the lily petals the herbs are laughing. The wind is laughing and the raspberry is laughing, the apricot is laughing and the apple is laughing. The strawberry is laughing, the blackcurrant is laughing, thousand coloured sea is gleaming in your eyes and a laughing man is bathing in them” –writes Zsolt Vetlényi on his graphic work entitled “Glass strawberry”.
